Published by Helbing Lichtenhahn Verlag, Korin Atat's PhD thesis analyzes the criminal liability of legal persons in different national laws and in European law (in the field of the protection of the financial interests of the Union, particularly in the fight against fraud and corruption, and in the field of the protection of the environment). The thesis is based on a comparative study and includes numerous references.
By examining different models of criminal liability, the objective of the doctoral thesis is to study the multiple models of criminal liability and, through a critical and practical approach; to provide concrete solutions at European and national level for an effective and dissuasive repression of legal persons.
It is aimed that the work will both contribute to the doctrine and provide solutions to the problems that may be encountered in practice.
